Contractual framework

Terms and conditions

These terms set out the general framework for consulting and coaching services offered under the Youcentra brand. An individual proposal, quote or agreement specifies and supplements this framework. If there is any conflict, the signed individual document prevails, subject to any mandatory rules that apply.

1. Contracting service provider

Each proposal, quote or agreement clearly identifies the legal service provider responsible for delivering the service.

2. Formation of the agreement

An initial inquiry or discovery call does not create any obligation to purchase. A service begins after written acceptance of a proposal, quote or agreement stating at least the service and its price.

Any request submitted through the website remains an inquiry and is not a confirmed booking. Once Youcentra approves the appointment, the client receives a secure payment link. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the appointment is confirmed only after payment is received.

3. Prices and payment

The applicable prices are those stated in the proposal or agreement. The currency and any applicable taxes are disclosed before commitment. Payment is made through a secure link sent individually to the client. This website does not directly collect payments or credit card numbers.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

Any cancellation or rescheduling request must be made in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. A request received within this period does not incur a cancellation penalty. Amounts already paid may be applied to a new date or refunded, as agreed with the client.

When a refund is issued, 4% is retained to cover transaction and processing costs associated with the original payment and the refund. This retention does not apply when applicable law requires a full refund.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the scheduled amount remains due. This rule does not limit mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal rights, or force majeure situations considered on a case-by-case basis.

When rescheduling is accepted, the new date is set according to both parties’ availability.

5. Withdrawal rights for European consumers

When an individual covered by European Union consumer law enters into a distance contract, they generally have fourteen days to withdraw without giving a reason. If the client expressly asks for the service to begin before the end of that period and withdraws after performance has started, the client remains responsible for the portion already provided. When the service has been fully performed before the end of the period, the right of withdrawal may be lost following the client’s express consent and acknowledgment.

A withdrawal request may be sent to [email protected] and should include the client’s name, contact information, the service concerned, the date of the agreement and a clear statement of withdrawal.

6. Coaching

Coaching is a support process focused on reflection, goals and action. The client remains responsible for their choices, decisions and results. Coaching is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or legal or financial advice. Youcentra may recommend a qualified professional when a need falls outside the scope of coaching.

7. Consulting

The scope, deliverables, responsibilities and limitations of a consulting engagement are defined in the proposal or agreement. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, recommendations do not constitute legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and implementation remains the client’s responsibility.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared as part of a service is treated confidentially within the limits stated in the agreement and required by law. These limits may include a serious risk of harm, a legal obligation, a court order or the protection of Youcentra’s rights.

9. Intellectual property

Youcentra retains the rights to its methods, models, tools and materials created before the engagement. The client receives the right to use deliverables within the scope defined in the agreement. The client may not resell, distribute or reproduce them outside that scope without written permission.

10. Results and liability

Youcentra undertakes to provide services with care and professionalism but does not guarantee any particular commercial, financial, professional or personal result. In business-to-business relationships, any applicable limitation of liability will be stated in the agreement. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

Any complaint should first be sent to [email protected] so that an amicable solution may be sought.

Subject to mandatory consumer protections, the applicable law and competent courts are specified in the agreement.

12. Changes to these terms

The terms communicated to the client when the agreement is entered into apply to that engagement. Any new version published on the website applies only to agreements entered into after its effective date.
